Sometimes serendipity just steps in and sweeps you away. That is how I felt when I met John and Dakotah and they hired me to photograph their intimate wedding. The location was at a friend’s private home on Oatland Island, which was just stunning. The newly weds live here on Tybee and I am so happy to call them friends now! They had a super fun part in their ceremony where they exchanged P.L.U.R. bracelets. P.L.U.R. is an acronym for Peace Love Unity Respect. The ritual is to exchange Kandi bracelets as you meet others that wear the bracelets too with a special handshake. They had given all of their guests the kandi bracelets to take home as a guest favor. I consider it a privledge and pleasure to work with such wonderful people. Congratulations John and Dakatoh!!
