Did you know that you can get a margarita at the airport? If it’s the B concourse at Dulles you can. We can hardly believe that we’ve got a couple of days to be together with no kids… it has been way too long. Flight delays aren’t that bad when you’ve got a video i-pod and Larry the Cable Guy (I don’t care who you are, he’s a funny fella)

A quick 2 1/2 hour drive and we pulled in to the hotel parking lot at 12:45 pm (1:45 if you count the time change… and my body did!)

Woke up after a great night sleep and we’re raring to go here in beatiful Morton, Il. (It’s right near Peoria, if you’re looking for it on a map… and apparently Peoria’s right near… nowhere…)

I have a feeling my brain’s gonna get stretched… should be a great time

What do you get when you cross a photographer and a thrown out back… a great photo shoot and a quick trip to the chiropractor immediately following.

Yep, Wen’s back started acting up yesterday and pretty much nagged her all day (that’s what she gets for trying to brush her hair…( I, personally, have  resolved that issue) A fitfull nights sleep and click… she can’t get out of bed without my help… what’s a girl to do?

That’s right, make a quick call to the chiropractor and start getting ready for the senior shoot scheduled for 8:45 am. (If she hadn’t mentioned it as a way to cover in case the shoot went south, no one would have ever known)

Christa and her mom had a good time (her mom used to live in the same town where I went to high school… it’s good when you have something like that happen… pay attention to it) and we came up with a pretty cool idea on the fly (it doesn’t look like what it actually was… does it Christa?)

I got to help carry the camera bag and hold the reflector… I was a good caddy.

Great shoot and some really great pictures… now if Wen’s back will mellow out tomorrow for our trip to…

Okay, so it’s my first "official" day on the job. The threat of rain gave way to gorgeous skies and we set out to do our first "trash the dress" session. Tromping through the woods, looking for mud, video camera in hand and a cigar hanging from my mouth… have I mentioned that I LOVE my new job?

We found a cool old homemade bridge that had seen it’s better days, a big circle of mud and topped it all off with a dip in the pool… getting great shots and video along the way. We’re putting a little promo piece together right now for our web site, but we’ve slipped a couple of shots in here, to let you see how it went…

Hi everybody… it’s me, Sean. Mr. Wen McNally.

I took off work on Tuesday (this being my last offical week at my current job) for what turned out to be a couple of super incredible meetings, after which I called my supervisor and let him know that unless he absolutely had to have me come in for something that only I could help with, I was pretty well done…

I am loving my new job!
