Christmas Eve Morning

It’s Christmas eve morning on Tybee. At 11 am, the girls are all still sleeping. I have been working on business research since 6 am. I am super excited about the new stuff that we will be doing in 2013 and I can’t wait to start sharing some of it with you.

My parents are driving down from VA today. Its gonna be a fun Christmas. This is actually our first Christmas on Tybee, since we went back to VA over Christmas week last year.

The City of Tybee does such a great job of decorating the island. With old fashioned lights from the north end to the South…the whole place twinkles at night. Down the “main street” there are bright blue LED lights spiraled around each palm tree.

The place is just magical. Everywhere you go around here, there is a happy vibe. It just does not seem to be the craziness that I have always experienced in years past. Other than two quick trips to the mall on the mainland, I have pretty much avoided the rush. I am eternally grateful for my favorite online shopping platform, Amazon. With our prime membership, we get free two day shipping. How can you beat that? I have actually had some time to bake a little and just enjoy the days that have led up to now. Ya know what?? I like it!
