Trinity Church Savannah – Garibaldi Wedding Reception

Trinity Church Savannah – Garibaldi Wedding Reception

Sarah had their day perfectly planned several months ago. From the condo where the bride and bridesmaids were getting ready, to the church ceremony, and the reception.  They were all within a couple blocks of each other. It was a perfect southern fall day, warm and beautiful.

Sarah and Ryan exchanged vows at Historic Trinity United Methodist Church  in downtown Savannah (Built in 1848). Afterwards, the guests either took a short walk (or a pedicab ride) around the corner for a fabulous dinner and Garibaldi wedding reception. This was my first time photographing a wedding at Garibaldi’s cafe. The staff was so accommodating to me and my assistant. The food was out of this world! Many times I just grab a few bites of food to sustain me for the evening, but I ate every last bite on my plate, it was just so good!   If you are looking for a wonderful location for your wedding or private event in Savannah, I highly suggest Garibaldi’s.

Some of the family members are greek and in the finest greek tradition, they took to smashing plates on the dance floor in celebration and honor of the newly wedded couple. Each time a plate was dropped on the floor, more guests were encouraged to crowd the dance floor.
